INTRODUCING: GUARDIANS STEPHEN & RACHEL AND MUUSYA MUTHINA

THEIR STORY

​

Muusya joined our LFK family in 2014. We heard about this family through his school. He was recommended to us from the teachers. Muusya is 17 years old and very smart.

​

His mother passed away in 2002 from malaria. She was not married and Muusya never knew his father. Stephen and his wife Rachel have taken care of Muusya since he was a baby.  Both are very old and struggle to provide for Muusya.

​

In their household there are just the 3 of them. The home is made up of only one structure and it is in a bad state. Muusya shares a bed with his grandfather. Their biggest need is repairing their home and building a safer structure.
