INTRODUCING: GUARDIAN FLORENCE AND LENA

THEIR STORY

Lena joined our LFK family in 2014. We first heard about them through Mwangya Primary School where she attends.

​

Lena is 15 years old and has 3 other siblings. Her mother died from Malaria in 2012. After her mother passed away, Lena moved in with her Aunt Florence. Florence is married and had 4 kids of her own bringing their household total to 10.

​

Florence is a pre-school teacher at a nearby school.

​

All 10 people live in 1 structure with 3 rooms. Their main repair need is a bathroom door. They own no modes of transportation.
