THEIR STORY

Musila has been part of our LFK family since the beginning. Jemimah met this family while walking through the neighborhood one day and saw an immediate need.

Musila is cared for by his uncle, Onesmus. His mother passed away in 2008 from asthma and he never knew his father. His grandfather lives close by but he is not involved with Musila.

In 2011, another organization called The Mocha Club built a house for Musila. It is one structure with two rooms for sitting and sleeping. He has kept this home immaculate. He lives there alone with his uncle and his uncle's family next door.

This past year, Musila graduated from high school with good marks. He now hopes to study in Kiambu, near Nairobi, to become a Quantity Surveyor.

We are so proud of Musila and are working to raise enough funds to send him to college!
