THEIR STORY

Comfort is one of the very first orphans in our program. She is niece to our Board Members, Jemimah and Evalyn. Their sister is Comfort's mother. Comfort is an amazing kid with a beautiful singing voice.

Her mother passed away in 2003 while receiving an operation. Comfort never knew her father. She was taken in by Evalyn and her husband Rogers. Evalyn and Rogers have 3 teenage kids of their own who volunteer their time and efforts with Love for Kitui.

In their household there are 6 total. The home is well kept and in good condition. Rogers has a good job and commutes to Kitui town about 30 km each way. He is a lab technician at the local hospital and uses his medical skills to also help with our LFK families. The three older kids are in college and Comfort has just entered high school. Their biggest struggle is providing school fees for all their kids.
