THEIR STORY

Kavili joined our LFK family back in 2006. We met Kavili in the neighborhood and Jemimah has known the family for a long time. Kavili is a great kid who loves to sing and dance. She also loves to run long distance.

Kavili is now 18 years old. Her mother died in 1999 from sickness, she was not married and Kavili never knew her father. Ruth is Kavili's grandma and took her in after her daughter passed away. Ruth was married but her husband has since passed away. 

​

In their household there are 6 people. The home has 1 structure with two rooms; one for sitting and one for sleeping. The home is in a poor state and has no windows. They have no bathroom and use the neighbor's. Their biggest need is providing food for everyone and repairing the house.
