THEIR STORY
Anne and Peter joined our LFK family in 2014 and Mutua in April 2016. We heard about this family through their school teachers.
Anne, Peter, Mutua and their little baby sister are taken care of by their mother, Musangi. Their father passed away in 2009 from pneumonia and they receive some help from their grandmother, Ann Aitumbi. Musangi is HIV positive and at this moment is not receiving any medication. We are working hard to provide this for her. This is a very loving and joyful family despite their circumstances. The kids are outgoing and always in great spirits.
All 5 family members live in 1 small structure and share one bed with no mattress. Their home needs many repairs and is at the top of our list for construction help. They currently have no kitchen and no bathroom area. This is an immediate need. Considering their tough situation, Musangi keeps a clean and organized house. She is a great mother.
