THEIR STORY

​

David and his brother James joined our LFK family in 2014. We first heard about them through Tulia Primary School where they attend.

​

David is 15 and his little brother James is 13. Their mother died in November, 2011 when she was struck by a car. She was never married and the kids have no information concerning their father. 

​

David and James were taken in by their Grandparents, Jemimah and Mbiti. Also living in the household is David and James's 2 Aunts and their 7 kids, bringing the grand total to 13.

​

All 13 people live in 3 small structures and are in need of some repairs such as a new roof and window panes for their windows.  They used to own a motorbike but sold it in need of money for food.
