INTRODUCING: GUARDIAN JOSIE AND MWENDE KILOKO

THEIR STORY

​

Kiloko joined our LFK family in 2014. We heard about this family through Kiloko's school.

​

Kiloko is 14 years old. Her mother died during birth to in 2005, she was not married and Kiloko never knew her father. Josie is Kiloko's aunt and took her in after her sister passed away. Josie and her husband have three kids of their own, all boys.

​

In their household there are 6 people. The home has 1 structure with three rooms. One room for the boys, one for the parents, and a sitting room, which also doubles as Kiloko's room. Kiloko sleeps on the couch. Their biggest need is providing for their children.
